Versace Donatella commits suicide
Donatella Versace was found dead at one of her 45 villas (all on lake Como). Police has concluded that she died of self inflicted paper cuts.
Just the night before Donatella organized a party for her best customers. Apparently the party was mostly visited by Russian mafia, Lithianian homosexuals and American second rate hip-hop stars. Once she realized who is her true audience she decided to take her own life. It took her 18 hours to kill herself using only A4 size paper.
It is believed that the Versace brand value will skyrocket after this attempt due to publicity, but only if Versace is able to find another cover face to continue the business promotion.
Donatella has succefully taken over after her brother Gianni was killed in Miami. One of the worst movies was made about this event and it is believed that an even a worst movie will be made about Donatella’s suicide. Studios are already fighting for this cult title.
In the mean time Versace, once a brake through aesthetic of early 90s, remains a life meaning garment for many middle aged nostalgic criminals. Other fashion brands have been strugling with the same problems because they are not able to adjust themselves to new reality which came along with new technologies such as phone, freight, computers and internet. For a while they were able to submit the masses into paying 1000 times the value of their garments but it is possible that this will change.
