The Gandhi Diet

The Gandhi Diet is the new diet on the block. Since it was featured in Teen and Vogue magazines it has became an obsession of 17 and 18 year old girls all over Europe, North America and Japan.
The Gandhi Diet combines the best aspects of dieting and social activism. The core rule of the diet is to fast for a social cause. This has inspired millions of teenagers and others to both lose weight and improve their society.
“I was super frustrated by my excess weight and the color of the post office building.” says Nicky, a sixteen-year-old girl. “The Gandhi Diet made me do something about both of these things. I went in the post office and I told the manager that I will not eat anything until he changes the color of the building. They did not believe me at first but when I came back a week later and they saw me they repainted the building immediately. It was very effective. Now I am anorexic and I am fasting to improve the social acceptance of anorexic people in my community.”
The Gandhi Diet is also the number one bestseller book and DVD. Some twenty million books and DVDs have been sold in the last three days only.
The phenomenon of grouping to fast for a join cause has also became a trend. A group of approx. 500.000 Italian teenagers have decided to fast in order to shorten the school class time from 45 to 20 minutes. Most extreme example are 750.000 Japanese teenage girls who are fasting for David Beckham’s transfer to Japanese football club.
So far some 25.000 teenagers have died and three countries have adopted anarchy as their social system, twenty five cities have changed their names to video game characters’ names and most of defence industry companies have started producing candy and porn.
Some say that The Gandhi Diet is just starting to pick up.
