Simpsons vs. Mim Psons
Matt Groening was outraged today to find out that Chinese production company has produced an illegal copy of Simpsons called Mim Psons.
Shows has the same characters, design, plots and gags as the original Simpsons but is in Chinese and features adjusted names and oriental face featres. For example Homer Simpson is Gomer Mim Pson, Bart Simpson is Burt Mim Pson, Marge Simpson is Zar Gee Mimp Son, Barney is Marney, and Moe is Mau. Show is produced and designed by Maht Groh Ning.
Mr. Groening is planning to sue Mr. Groh Ning and is demanding USA government support because he believes his rights are not well protected in China.
“I mean these people are crazy. As soon as I got off the plane this kid came over to me and he stuck a needle in my neck, few hours later I woke up and they used my blood to make clones out of it. Now they sell my clones on Ebay. It is crazy. They copied everything. My mind. Everything. But they will never copy my soul. I will either kill them all or kill myself.” said Mr. Groening.
Illegal copying by Chinese citizens has became a big problem for USA economy. Some estimates say that USA looses a gazillion of dollars a day but some say that this is actually a boost for the USA business because many Chinese learn about USA culture like this and soon after want the originals.
Actually some Chinese officials, provoked by Mr. Groenings announcement above, have admited that they were bribed by Mr. Groening into organizing the illegal copy of Simpsons.
Mr. Groening at first denied and than explained himself. “It is an art project. I was joking with you all.”
USA army will anyway continue to deal with this issue and is preparing to move the troops from Iraq to a secret location close to a Starbucks in Shanghai. It is possible that a new world war will finally start as soon as it is cleared out on who’s side Jackie Chan is.
