Israel vs Lebanon

Just when it feels like it is quiet a new war brakes up: Israel has started a new war against Lebanon by bombing Beirut.

There are currently 47 officially declared and 1354 unofficial wars active in the world (source: CNN), but Israel has always been able to stay on top of the media interest lists. One of the main reasons is the war tourism which makes up around 73% of Israel’s budget.

“There are many upper and middle class people out there that like to indulge in recreational war experiences” says a Israeli war tourism agency owner “and Israel is a top location offering many options - on war and many other subjects.”

War is the biggest export of Israel and most common channels have been tourism, media content and merchandising which are all exchanged for solid profit and weapons. However, for war to happen it is necessary to have an enemy with whom profit should be shared. This is where a specific geopolitical position of Israel trully shines as the supply of enemies is unlimited.

Absolute leaders in war production are US with the invention of invisible or very small enemies, such as terrorists.
